Double-layer webbing is used to prevent fraying or tearing and to provide extra protection throughout the hem of the sunshade sails, as well as to stabilize the D-rings on each corner.
Compared to other sun shade sails on the market, Patio's virgin HDPE fabric undergoes 20,000 hours of laboratory testing and is proven to be 80% more durable than low-purity HDPE under sun exposure. The fabric surface has also undergone special treatment, making it more durable in both sunlight and rain.
Patio's sun shade sails block up to 95% of harmful direct sunlight, significantly reducing the temperature, making them ideal for patios, swimming pools, balconies, carports, and more. The breathable fabric allows water and air to flow through freely, preventing pooling on rainy days and eliminating the need for maintenance.
All edges of Patio's sun shade sails are constructed with heavy-duty, double-layered reinforced stitched seams, preventing frayed edges and out-of-shape issues. Each corner ends with a D-ring for easy hanging, and the extra heavy stitching helps the D-rings remain strongly attached to the shade sail. The edges are also finished slightly curved, allowing the sail to be stretched tightly and preventing the middle from sagging.
Patio recommends using their hardware kits and cables for the best performance and appearance when installing the sun shade sails. Measurement should be taken from D-ring to D-ring, leaving 1 to 1.5 feet of space for the hardware kit between the shade sail D-ring and mounting points.
